Built for commercial operators

What you can expect from Fixt Marine

Capability, safety, and turnaround. Here's what every job includes.

Topside-controlled

Every dive runs on a tended umbilical with topside air, communications, and a standby diver. That topside-controlled setup is how commercial work stays safe and repeatable.

Built for hard water

Low visibility, strong current, and confined spaces are the norm on the Gulf Coast and inland rivers. Our procedures and crews are built for exactly those conditions.

24/7 response

Line wrap, fouled intakes, and dropped objects do not wait for business hours. A crew is on call around the clock to get you operating again.

Mobile crews

We mobilize a complete dive spread, supervisor, diver, standby, and tender, to your berth, anchorage, or facility across the Gulf Coast and the inland river systems.

In-water, no haul-out

Hull cleaning, propeller work, anode replacement, and sea chest blanketing are done in the water, so the vessel stays in service and off the drydock schedule.

Documented every time

Every job is backed by safety-first, spec-compliant work and a written dive log. Inspections include photo and video you can hand to class, insurers, or maintenance.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What areas do you work in?
We operate across the Gulf Coast, from the Port of Mobile and Mobile Bay to Pascagoula, Gulfport, Pensacola, Panama City, New Orleans, and Baton Rouge, and up the inland river systems including the Tennessee-Tombigbee and the lower Mississippi. If you have a vessel or structure that needs underwater work, ask us about mobilizing to your location.
What diving method do you use?
Every dive uses a tended umbilical delivering topside air and communications, with a supervisor in control and a standby diver on site. It is the standard for safe, repeatable commercial and industrial diving.
Who do you work with?
We work with commercial operators: vessel owners, port and terminal operators, barge and tug lines, marine contractors, and industrial facilities. Our scheduling and documentation are built around those operations.
Can you work without hauling the vessel out?
Yes. Hull cleaning, propeller polishing, anode replacement, sea chest blanketing, and inspection are all performed in the water, so the vessel stays in service and you avoid a drydock slot.
How fast can you mobilize?
It depends on the location, the scope, and the water conditions, but we build every job around your operational schedule and run 24/7 emergency response for urgent underwater problems.
Do you provide documentation with your work?
Yes. Every job comes with a written dive log and findings, and inspections include photo and video documentation you can hand to class, insurers, or your maintenance team.
